Check It: Color Underfoot (and don’t forget the giveaway!)

I hope everyone is off today doing something Presidential in honor of the holiday.  Apparently that means going out and buying a car or some major appliances for your home.  At least that’s what the ads tell me.

You know what also seems to be on sale lately?  Pretty rugs.  Since I live in a slightly drafty house and yes, it’s still Winter, I’ve had my eyes peeled for colorful rugs that will chase the cold and the winter blues away.  I picked flat weave rugs and styles that came in at or under $300 for 5′x8′ sizes.  Also, in my research, I discovered the RugsUSA is having a 50% off sale today!  They didn’t pay me to say that but they have a huge selection and it seems like a great deal if you’re in the market.
