So close to vacation…

It’s Friday, December 21st, which means many of you are giving work one last feeble push before you take off for your holiday vacation. I’m in retail, so…I’m not one of you and I’ll be working every day except Christmas itself, but I’ve been there many times and I think what you need today is something to entertain you while you pretend to get work done. Amirightoramiright?

If you’re at all into pretty design blogs, or actually if you totally despise them, you must see the Fuck Your Noguchi Coffee Table Tumblr. Between Design*Sponge, Pinterest, and the countless other interior design resources I tend to scan on a regular basis, I have seen a million irrationally beautiful photographs. I really wish I had come up with the idea to trash talk these perfectly staged worlds, but I didn’t. These brilliant and hilarious people at FYNC caption the envy-worthy images with super simple lines like “Fuck your American flag window treatment” and “Fuck your typographic wall art about typography.”

They also have special days like Terrarium Tuesdays, (it’s funny when they poke fun at something I really love):

Then you’ve got Frame Cluster Fridays, in which they lovingly bash the trend of collage walls, and my personal favorite, Super Combo Sundays, where they take the time to name every single thing that pisses them off in the photo. The hashtags they use are even hilarious. I honestly can’t get enough.
