Patience in Practice: Peter Root
I consider myself a patient person. However, I am not as patient as Peter Root’s art makes him appear to be. Browsing Pinterest led me to this post from Trendland and Peter’s meticulous work. Check it out:
With 100,000 staples and 40 hours of work, Peter created an entire city using stacks of staples broken down into various sizes.

Wasteland 2009
The concept of structure was also explored in Wasteland using potatoes. Over time, the material began to rot and change shape organically.
This piece was carved from bars of honey and almond soap. Strangely, it reminds me of some of the Star Wars toys my older brother had growing up. I love how modular this one is.
Peter also has quite a bit of digital work on his website here so check it out! All images link back there as well and are copyright of Peter Root.

ummmmm, this guy is doings some pretty neat-o stuff, thanks, Kate!
Glad you liked it!
