Interior Inspiration: White Kitchens

Repurposing salvaged sink traditional kitchen
One room where I’m absolutely not afraid of using white is the kitchen.  I love the crisp, clean look of white cabinets, white walls, white tile (preferably subway), and even white counters.  The look is classic and refined and it’s hard to screw up.

An often heard critique of white kitchens is that they’re too boring or expected.  I think they’re anything but.  White kitchens let every well-thought-out detail shine through, like the gorgeous marble subway tile and that amazing stove in the picture above.  Or the salvaged sink in the first picture I used in this post.

White Laquer and Dark Oak Kitchen modern kitchen
White kitchens don’t have to just be traditional or country.  White pulls off modern very well. Just check out that amazing marble island and the non-traditional hood.
Okay, if that last picture doesn’t make you sold on white kitchens, I don’t know what will.  But if you’re still craving a bit more color, sit tight till next week when I’ll showcase different ways to use bold colors in your kitchen.
