Domino is Back!

Almost eight years ago, as I was leafing through Lucky Magazine I saw an ad for the debut of a magazine called Domino. It was love at first sight, so I pre-ordered a subscription and sat with much anticipation by the mailbox until it came. I saved every single issue from 2005 until 2009, when Domino cited financial struggles and closed the book on what was the best interior decorating source for my demographic there had ever been. (This was before I really got into blogging.) It really sucked.

As it turns out, I’m actually 2 months late on this news, but Domino Magazine is back!!

Kind of.

Here’s the rub: It’s called “Domino: Quick Fixes”, will only be sold on newsstands, costs $10.99 and will only be released quarterly…if that. Guess what? I’m totally down. The first issue hits the stands on April 17 (tomorrow!) and rumor has it that it’s considerably thicker than a standard magazine and has fewer ad pages.

In honor of this exciting comeback, let’s take a walk down memory lane at some of the lovely images Domino shared with us…

…and my personal favorite…the “Turn This Outfit Into a Room” column…

So, what do you think, will you be the first one at your local newsstand on Tuesday?
