Instagram Workweek: Dream Job

Happy Friday! Here’s a little twist on the usual “Instagram Weekend” post we do on Friday afternoons…Instagram Workweek! I started my new job, which is actually my old job (from six years ago) this week at Asia West here in Portland. This time around, I will be training to be the General Manager of the store, which is honestly a dream come true for me. Asia West showcases beautiful imported furniture, home decor and jewelry from India, Indonesia and China. The majority of the pieces are refurbished antiques from India and Indonesia, but they’ve also recently begun designing their own line of new pieces that are still made to look rustic. The store is also in the process of re-branding with a new logo and subsequent new sign as well as a new website (which you may have noticed is under construction.) I am now visually bombarded by a host of beautiful textures, patterns and prints on a daily basis, and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re ever in Portland, please come visit us at 219 Commercial Street!
