Instagram Weekend: Mount Snow, Vermont

Hi Guys, We’re back this afternoon with a very special post.  It’s our first post written by a contributor!  Our good friend Mary Walsh is sharing pictures from her recent weekend at Mount Snow in Vermont.  Mary is a writer and works in sports marketing with a specialty in producing action sports events.  We’re so excited to have her on The Loud and Clear and we promise you’ll be hearing more from her in the future.  Hopefully this helps you kick off the weekend right!

This past weekend officially kicked off my winter. Even though temperatures have been dropping for a few weeks and the days have been short and dark for what seems like forever, my season begins with the start of Red Bull Butter Cup, a snowboard contest series all over the East Coast that I produce. Once the first event goes down in early January, I’m on the road until April, for this and other events. I love everything about traveling for work: the chance to see both new and familiar places, the delicious celebratory dinners when we’re wrapped, and of course putting on the event is a hectic, busy, completely awesome experience on its own. The best part about this work, though, is the people I get to spend the time with. Our first event marks an unofficial reunion of the winter crew and while in Mount Snow, Vermont last weekend, we made sure to celebrate the kick off of the winter with laughs, hard work, good food and drink, and of course, snowboarding.
